This post is far overdue, since Kathryn has been 17 months since Jan. 22, but I am trying to keep up! Now that she is on the move, there is no stopping her. She prefers walking in grocery stores to riding in the cart and pulling out everything in every kitchen shelf. During storytime at the library, she stands during the entire session, even during the reading of books and relishes any dancing opportunity. She insists of wearing a hat when she can find one, even if it's a too small summer hat as in the above picture.
She has started using a spoon and is quite good at it! It also slows her down, which is nice for the rest of us trying to finish a meal.
She always tries to hang in with her big sister during art times.
She has a mouthful of teeth and even has most of her molars. She is working on a second ear infection, so we will all be ready for winter colds to be over!
Her popular words/phrases include: mommy, daddy, Au-dee, ball, block, glasses, show, Oh man!, no/yes, uh-oh, clock, and most of her body parts. She loves, "Row Row Your Boat" and finally she loves to read!! She hands us a book and plops down in our lap to show us she's ready.
She is a happy, opinionated, hilarious, and social baby...toddler (gulp!)
and we love her!
