Old Friends

This weekend, one of my best friends, Amy, came to visit with her husband Matt. We had lots of fun just hanging out and catching up. On Thursday, the boys went to golf while we took off to Ikea. (David was grateful I didn't buy anything he had to assemble.) Since we're all big game players, Amy brought along an old game called Krazy Bee Rummy which is a card game with multiple rounds. We played for a while on Thursday night and then finished it up Friday afternoon. Sadly, I was not the victor!
Then, on Friday, we all took off for Babies R Us and Target. David had only been to BRU once when we first found out we were expecting. At that time, we were so overwhelmed by all of the choices, we stayed for about five minutes and left! This time, we picked up a few things that we needed and then helped Amy and Matt create their registry! Their baby is due in January, so we're excited that our firsts will be so close together.
Afterwards, back for more rummy and then Matt and David went to the Braves game. Amy and I chilled on the couch, playing more games and catching up on TLC. This morning, we went to breakfast at the Flying Biscuit (yummy grits!) and then ambled around Decatur a bit before they had to head back to Nashville. It was a great weekend!
