Nursery News

We finished up in the nursery this week, so here are a few pics. The first one is actually another project that David's been working on - a little piece that we found that needed some loving care. It's in our den and I plan to get some baskets for that open section and then use it for storage for her toys downstairs.

This is the quote above her crib - sorry it's hard to read - someone more adept with the camera could fix that, but it says, "Every good and perfect gift comes from above..."

This is a dresser that we're using in her room. On the top is a basket filled with our old stuffed animals, a board that my Aunt Carole made, and an "A" that I found at an antiques store. The frog in the corner is a laundry hamper.

her bookcase - another piece that David transformed. When we got it, the back was falling off, it was completely dirty, and none of the shelves were in place. My cousin, Elise, painted the letters, and David bought the cow bank for her last summer (before we even knew she was coming!).

This is the view from the door. The print on the wall was in my bedroom when I was growing up.
