Last week, my college friend, Mary Beth and her family were in town for a couple of days. She and her girls came over for dinner (or a tea party, as Audrey called it).. a fancy dinner of green beans, chicken nuggets, and oranges. Her girls' names are Julia and Mary Francis but Audrey renamed them "Jilla" and "Mary Princess." Audrey asked today if they could come back tonight for another tea party.
The next day, my friend Christy came over to watch Kathryn and the rest of us took off for the zoo. Audrey was most excited about climbing on the ropes and drinking milk from a milk carton at lunch, but she had a fun time and is still talking about the monkeys with pink bottoms and the giraffes living with the zebras and ostriches.
It's so fun to see our daughters becoming friends as well. Can't believe we have four girls between the two of us!! Didn't we just graduate from Samford?
