Two Month Check Up

Butter Bean went for her two month check up yesterday at the doctor. I was dreading it a little because I knew she was getting two shots, but she did pretty well. She was cooperative and only cried until we got to the car. She actually settled down and went to sleep in her car seat with a pacifier which has never happened! Maybe we're onto a new trick...

Here are her stats at two months:
Weight 12 lbs., 3.5 ozs. (78%)
Height 23 1.4 in (76%)
Head circumference: 15 1/2 in. (63%)

This week, she has been taken her final feeding from daddy with a formula bottle. Since we started this, she started sleeping from around 10:30 PM until 6:30 AM!! Woohoo! The doctor said it might not necessarily be the formula - she might just be ready to do it, but I don't know.. Anyway, seven hours of sleep at night is a blessed thing! David said today she actually reached for a toy and held onto it, so that's a new event as well.

My friend from work, Kelly, had a baby two weeks after Audrey arrived. His name is Keegan and apparently, it wasn't his naptime as it was Audrey's - she was not feeling up for this!
