She's still not crawling, but apparently that is no longer a milestone since many babies skip that stage and go straight to walking due to the whole "sleeping on the back" campaign. She is pulling up on furniture and people. She seems to understand "hey" and loves to wave to people, objects, pictures of herself. A little shy around strangers but generally warms up quickly. Still no teeth! She takes 2 naps a day and sleeps at night from around 7:30-7 AM. We really like her a lot!

Nine Month Update
We had a short and successful visit to the doctor this morning. In at 8:30, back home by 9:15 - love it! No shots necessary today - only a toe prick to check iron levels. She didn't even react when the nurse pricked her, so that was nice. She did, of course, scream bloody murder when the nurse leaned her back to measure her because she hates lying down flat nowadays. She is 29 1/2 inches long (95 %) and 18 lbs., 7 ozs. (75%). So, she is getting long and lean - good thing - she can become a supermodel and support her parents! Or, a basketball star, volleyball player, doctor, lawyer, president, whatever.
