Well, the big girl turned eight months old at 2:50 PM today! I told her as she was trying to pull up on the side of the crib - got to lower that mattress! Here are her current milestones:
- pulls up with your hands supporting her hands
- leaning forward from a sitting position; scoots backwards slightly when you put her on her tummy
- still loves to eat: better control of Puffs and small finger foods (mommy is signing up for CPR classes because I'm paranoid)
- says one syllable sounds (ma, da, pa, ga)
- Started to wave last week!
- takes 2 naps a day (about 2 hours in the AM and 1 1/2 hours in the PM); generally sleeps from 7:30 PM to 7 AM
- Seems to be starting to teethe - crankier this week than normal, pulling at ears, likes to chew on things
- Loves her musical toys and stacking cups and blocks; the church nursery workers says she's a drummer with every toy she plays with
- laughs when Lucy acts crazy
- keeps us smiling every day!
