Partying

We've had another busy and fun weekend. David's dad retired from the AL Power Company after almost 38 years, so we headed to Anniston Friday afternoon for his retirement party. There were so many sweet people there and they all had great things to say about him. It was good to connect faces with names that we have heard over the years.

daddy and the boo (sorry for the fuzziness)

food table (lots of goodies-unfortunately, I didn't get a pic of the cake before it was cut.)

Grandmother and the Boo (thank goodness for the paci! Look at those sleepy eyes.)

There were jokes posted all over the walls, since Douglas is a fun of a good joke or story. Plus, I think after 38 years of crossing AL you meet some interesting folks that make for good entertainment.

I should have zoomed in more, but somehow he raised some beautiful violets at the office which were on display.

We also celebrated David's 31st birthday this weekend with our great friends, Jake and Erin. We grilled out to celebrate the beginning of spring!! Be gone, cold weather!!

Butter Bean thought Jake was very funny and she loved Erin's jewelry. Poor girl had to take off her earrings, sunglasses, and bracelet throughout an afternoon with the Bug.

Good friends.
