I went to take Andrew on some errands a few weeks ago, and ran over a lovely bolt that took out my tire. Though it was not thrilling news, it turned out to be a good day. My insurance lady was lovely and sent someone out to change it, and Kathryn and Andrew had a great time at Firestone while we waited for a new one! Andrew loved touring around the store and the manager was loving hanging out with him.
Andrew even got a turn on the cash register while he was there!
Kathryn visited with all of the customers, and took a special liking to this older woman in the store. They bonded over her book, the colors in her sweater and what she was reading. It was so fun to watch them interact. My kids are definitely social!
