Audrey loves going to church and visiting with her friends. We have been having lots of God conversations lately, and she questions why she can't see Him. When Mimi and Pops visited last week, David and I went out for dinner. Audrey was struggling with going to sleep, so Mimi taught her a lesson that she taught me many years ago. She told her to put her worries up in a box, wrap them up, tie it with a bow and send them up to God. Audrey thought this was an intriguing idea, and first wanted to know what her Mommy used to worry about. Then, she wandered back into the den to tell Mimi she wasn't sure what color box would be best. (She finally chose red with a purple ribbon.) Today, when David was taking some things up to the attic, she was being his "helper." As she handed up the storage box, she said, "Here you go, Daddy. Just lift it up to God."
I mean, really, this is classic Kathryn. This girl was born with a hilarious personality. She runs around all day, ready to laugh and play and get into anything that Audrey is into. We love her little teeth and cheeky grin. And, she loves that pink bunny. We can NEVER lose it!
We love our little 20 month old girl!
