Audrey was so excited to go to Boo Zoo this year. This is the first year that she has really gotten into the concept of Halloween. Boo Zoo happens for two weekends at the zoo. It's after dark, which is a huge deal to Audrey. She's very concerned if we are out past dark. She decided to be a cat which wouldn't be "too scary".
Once we arrived, she was pretty nervous about some of the other visitors' costumes, the loud noises, and the music. However, once she realized that there was free candy involved at various stations, she became very brave. We were impressed with her politeness, always saying "thank you" after receiving each treat. One of the candy givers was also impressed with her manners and gave her extra candy. Well...after that, she would stand and say "thank you" and wait around. One time, she literally said thank you three times before we could finally get her away. Can't get extra candy every time, girl!
We grabbed a few quick pics after MOPS today. It is really impossible to get a good picture of both of them looking at the camera. Here are our best efforts.
Such a big girl these days. She loves fall, especially all of the leaves changing and "helping" daddy with the raking. Pumpkins are her new favorite obsession. Another post on Kathryn to follow...
