the Zoo and grandparents - a great combination

We are having a great Labor Day weekend with Grandmother and Granddaddy in Memphis. They have been so helpful around the house and with the girls, so we set out for some fun this morning. It was our first trip to the Memphis zoo! Our realtor gave us a year's membership for our closing present, so we are looking forward to lots of fun times there. The zoo is beautiful - reminds me of Disney World grounds - and so clean! We had a great time, and even Kathryn hung in there though she was missing her morning nap.

We saw the elephants getting a bath.

Audrey enjoyed her first carousel ride. She was terrified at first and gripped my neck, but quickly got over her fears.

Now, she's got the hang of it.
