Kathryn - One month

Today marks Kathryn's one month birthday. I can't believe only a few weeks ago she joined our family. She is a good baby. She can get wound up if she's sleepy, but generally she has a good disposition and sleeps and eats like all newborns. She is starting to establish a "pattern" of just waking once about 3 AM during the night. (I hate to write that because I might jinx myself!)

Her happiest spot is lying on her back on the changing table and watching the ceiling fan and the pink globes above her head. She is starting to make some cooing sounds and smile a little bit. She prefers to be held rather than going to sleep on her own. Audrey is very good and gentle with her and likes to pat her head. Audrey calls her a "whiny boo" when she cries and pats her feet. We are due back to the dr next week so I will update stats then.
