We had a great second Christmas with Audrey this year. Every morning, she loved coming down the stairs to see the tree and got much more excited about her presents. The above picture is when David's parents came to visit - she loved her Mega Blocks, but we are leaving out the Elmo bag too because she finds it equally as fun!

The weekend before Christmas, Grandmother and Granddaddy gave us the present of a long weekend alone! Audrey went and spent the weekend in Alabama and we got to go to Christmas parties and concerts. One of our favorites was seeing Amy Grant and Vince Gill at the Fox. Our seats were in the roof, but it still sounded great!

One of Audrey's favorite things at Mimi and
Pop's house were the beads they didn't put around their tree this year. Lucky for Audrey, she discovered them and loved "bedazzling" herself. She was having her
Zsa Zsa Gabor moment.

I was so excited about this Tickle Me Elmo. We thought it was hilarious - he falls down laughing and even rocks around. However, Audrey did not find it entertaining at all. She was okay with it until he fell down, and then she would lose it screaming and crying, thinking he was in pain. Maybe next year???

I know this is blurry, but I had to show how she insisted on putting
Pop's Bah Humbug hat on Santa Claus.

Another funny thing she has started doing is lying down to color or read books. She stretches out and taps her bag foot as she concentrates. (She also likes this pose when she's throwing a fit.) :)

Audrey enjoyed showing her
Snapfish photo album to Mimi.

She also enjoyed my Barefoot
Contessa cookbook. She thinks everything looks delicious.

Maybe she's using those recipes in her new play kitchen from Mimi and Pops?

Snow on Christmas Day!

Opening presents with Grandmother

David's sister and brother in law, Jennifer and Michael, are huge Saints fans, so they drove into town from New Orleans, along with Grandmother and Granddaddy to spend a few days after Christmas. David, Michael, Jen, and Granddaddy went to the Falcons-Saints game at the Dome.
