Mother's Day 2

My sweeties were awfully sweet this first Mother's Day. It started a bit rocky with the Boo waking at 5 AM (she didn't get the memo that you're supposed to sleep in a bit) and then Lucy throwing up in her crate as soon as I opened her door, but things turned around. She made it through church and Sunday School in the nursery without screaming and even laid down in a crib to sleep! When we came home, there were flowers, earrings and a precious homemade card. David said he asked Audrey what she wanted to give me and she opened her arms, so he thought that meant "a hug." So, he attempted to trace her hands with a crayon. He said that was quite an experience (I think one of her hands has six fingers!) But, it was incredibly precious.

We spent the afternoon playing with blocks, napping and taking a stroll with Lucy - little normal things that make each day perfect!
