We arrived at the hospital early June 28, I think around 5:30 AM. The hospital was super quiet, and we were the only ones at check in. Here are a few pics of our morning memories.
We rolled into surgery right on time with Dr. Ronco and two residents at 8 AM. The csection went perfectly well. After she was delivered, the nurses held onto her for a while and I soon realized they were saying her oxygen levels were low. Unfortunately, her lungs had too much fluid and she required some time in the NICU which was a bit of a shock for us, as we have never had a baby who needed NICU care. We were relieved that the hospital has one of the largest and well-regarded NICUs in the state.

Last baby bump pic!She was born on a Friday and was released from the NICU on Sunday. Unfortunately, her bilirubin levels were high, so she had to stay one night under the lights in the nursery. We finally left the hospital on Tuesday morning, July 2.
