Beach Trip, June 2015

David and K hard at work on a sand castle on day 1
We ventured to the beach this year with our whole crew. David's high school friend has a house in Panama City, so we stayed for a whole week. It's quite a drive from IN, but the kids did fairly well. David and I may need another vacation to recover from our vacation, but I'm sure memories were made!
We were thankful to have Grandmother and Granddaddy along for the first half of the week and Mimi and Pops for the second half.

Audrey insisted on wearing these goggles. It was a pretty strong current due to a storm in the Gulf for the first couple of days, so they were helpful at some points.

Happy girls on day 1 and their first glimpse of the beach. This was Andrew and Kathryn's first trip and Audrey's third (though she doesn't remember her first trip to MI and her second to Gulf Shores.)

She loved practicing her baseball.

This wild man was all over the house. He loved exploring all of the cabinets and crevices.

Kathyrn and Andrew weren't really happy about the water and even the sand at times. We were thankful that there was a tent that we could sit under during the mornings.

We did sneak away for a date night of Putt Putt.
He won!
