David and I celebrated our tenth anniversary at the end of July. I can't really believe that it has already been a decade, but when I consider all of our moves, homes, jobs and now, children, I guess a lot has changed since 2003! Many thanks for Grandmother and Granddaddy for keeping the girls while we had a getaway week. Of course, they had a blast at Camp Grandparents!
We started our trip in one of our favorite towns (and our college town), Birmingham. Our friends, Chris and Rhona, took us to a great South American restaurant and then we headed to a Barons game. They have a beautiful new stadium, and it was a perfect night to sit outside.
The next day, we headed down to Rosemary Beach, FL. It's one of several small beach communities between Destin and Panama City. All of the towns are set up as communities with lots of green spaces, small stores and one of a kind restaurants. Most folks drive bikes or golf carts around the town and spend time with family. It is such a unique and pretty place with beautiful architecture and homes.
