Dora Day at the Museum!

A little Diego face painting in the play store
One of the first places moms around Mmephis have told me to visit with the girls is the Children's Museum. This week, I found out the museum was hosting a Dora and Diego day! Since we have a huge Dora and Diego fan in our house, we joined with a year's membership. Money well spent - we were there for a couple of hours this morning and only made it through about half of the exhibits. It is wonderful - super clean and so many fun things to do! We went early and were the first in the line to see Dora.
Meeting Dora and Diego - Audrey was pretty shy but she warmed up a bit. Just had to stay near Daddy

Audrey decided to be brave for the face painter once Mommy did it first.

Modeling the fire hat

She loved being the driver

Fishing in the "river"

Shopping at Kroger

The registers really scanned the food and printed a receipt!

We had a quick picnic on the lawn after we finished.

Happy girl!

Kathryn was a trooper. She missed her morning nap but powered through.

Outside on the lawn testing out her new plane

Inside the Fed Ex plane (they are based in Memphis)

a plane in the museum!

She loved all of the buttons

Hopefully, this will be her only time in the back of a police car!

The river that runs through the center

This was one of her favorite activities - putting the shapes on the lit desk.

The play store

It was a great morning! Come visit us in Memphis!
