"2 on da bir-day"

Since there seems to be a strong likelihood that I will be in the hospital with baby girl on Audrey's birthday on Friday, I thought we would go ahead with her 2 year old birthday post. She is very excited about her big day. When you ask her how old she will be on her birthday, she grins, holds up two fingers (and a thumb) and says, "Gonna be 2 on da bir-day." We spent some time in our neighbor's yard taking some pictures in her birthday dress this weekend.

In terms of two year old milestones, here they are:
-still loves to read books and sing songs
-favorite songs include: Elmo's World theme song; Baa, Baa Black Sheep; Row, Row Your Boat; ABC Song; Jesus Loves Me; Barney song; Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, Turn Around
-shy around new people but once she warms up, she will talk your ear off
-speaks in complete sentences; mimics everything! Her latest phrase is, "Yeah, baby!" which is from Elmo's World
-loves Elmo but has a complete crying breakdown if he falls asleep on the show or in books and will talk about him being asleep for hours
-enjoys puzzles, painting, and coloring
-loves taking care of her baby dolls, pretending to feed them and change diapers
-says she is excited about baby Kathryn's arrival - we'll see!!!
-loves to cuddle on her big girl bed before nap and bedtime
